Some of you may have noticed that I pimped the splash tee slightly. It was done by teetow with photoshop, but now I completely redrew it with inkscape. As you can see I changed the shading and made the weapons more 3D. Have you realized the change?
For those of you who do not know the starry night: have a look at wikipedia. It's one of van Gogh's masterpieces and I really love it. And because I love teeworlds, too I decided to combine them. So here is a video of the starry night, background theme. Have you ever thought about creating a completely new background theme? Why do not you try to do the same and create a background masterpiece of your favourite artist?
edit: does anyone know a good way to do video-screencaptures of teeworlds? Looks like my software or my PC are not good at performance.
We are currently pimping the standard tilesets for the next next update. We won't change any style, but I guess that 50% of you will like the changes.
What do you think about graphic changes in general? Do you want to see current screenshots of what we are working on, or do you want to be surprised when we release the next official teeworlds version?
Nodes development got stuck as inherited's and my real life is changing. As I still want to develop teeworlds I cannot spend more time in developing nodes- Inherited's plans are non-teeworlds related so we decided to pass the responsability of nodes development to Mo2.

When Landil wrote his last post concerning a black kitty, he inspired me to think about skins again. Having a little spare time, I strolled the internet, esp. youtube and watched some tw-related videos. Poor me did not expect so many ugly (and so NOT fitting to tee-style) skins to appear in the videos. Sure, I can understand that skins work on different levels. Sometimes it is just the idea that makes a skin attractive. I occasionally play some vanilla CTF or DM and still have to wonder that from all skins I only see four of them to be used regularly: Mike, Napoleon, Emo and the lightbulb skin.
The latter was my first skin to be published and as I've said it before, it is ugly. Still I can understand that the idea of a sensible transparent skin attracts people. Nevertheless, there are so many ugly skins out there that I am happy the vanilla client does not support skin download. I know there are some really good skins out there. There could be some skin collection with only good stuff, but the last time I googled for it, I only saw that size is more important than technique. Let's change it somehow, at least help me to get some new skins in my folder, I want you to link me the skin-file and a preview of
